I rode the dog bus w ith my buddy from Missoula MT to Chicago and back when I was 17 YO. I can’t believe my parents let us do that, two days on the bus each way. Some interesting people.

If you get a chance, I heartily recommend the highland Park "Magnus" scotch for a good malt at under 50$. Even in Michigan it is reliably in the high 30$/bottle range.

I haven’t taken Greyhound since I was in university , and that’s only because I forgot about trains until after I graduated.

The best part about my trip from school to home was that there was a stop about halfway through where I could smoke a joint and then just throw a movie or TV shows on my laptop and enjoy the rest of the ride. Plus there was a little convenience store to buy some munchies and some water to cure the post-smoke dry mouth.
